2010 Olympics!

So the Olympics have been at it for a couple of days now, and it's exciting! I have tried to catch some of my favorite sports in the winter olympics, but it's been hard, with the time difference. But I saw on the news this morning that Shaun White (The Flying Tomato - I don't think anyone calls him that anymore. sad. I liked it!) won gold lastnight on the half-pipe, I think, I'm not an expert on all the snowboarding terminology! haha I'm so excited for him! Not only does he snowboard, he skateboards too! Like pro Skating! He has won gold in the Winter, and Summer X-Games! How sick is that?! Pretty sick, I'd say! :) And in the other post, you have seen that I really like We the Kings, well if you look at Travis, the lead singer, and Shaun White, they look kinda similar! Mostly with their big and fluffy red hair! Travis has been tweeting on the subject, and has said some funny stuff about it like: "Wish me luck in the snowboarding compitition tonight!! Wait.....what???" haha I got that one this morning! i laughed. But anyway I'm super stoked to watch more snowboarding, and hockey for the next little bit!

New Week, New Super Bowl Winner.

Well it's a new week, with lots of stuff to do in it! Like..oh..I don't know... GO TO THE WE THE KINGS SHOW!!!

Sharon and I have a daily freak out everyday, since about a week and a half ago. It's crazy!
It's THIS Saturday!! (2/13)

I am apart of the amazing Twitter world and I follow the members of WTK and the actual band has one so I follow that as well. I get them on my phone and Saturday when I was with Sharon Travis Clark(lead singer), Hunter Thomsen(Lead Guitar) and Danny Duncan (Drums), oh and the band's Twitter, all said that they had to cancel the Philly show that would have been yesterday I think because of snow, well when Sharon and I got that tweet, we fell out about how happy we were to live in Florida!! We will never have a show canceled for SNOW! hahaha

Along with WTK there is going to be Mayday Parade, There For Tomorrow, A Rocket to the Moon, and Stereo Skyline! I've been trying to listen to more of them, because I like all of them, I had just never been an avid listener, but I want to scream the words at them so Pandora and Myspace and LaLa have helped with that!!

This Is going to be a crazy show!

Okay, now for the real news! :)

Yesterday was SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!

I was very disappointed with the end of it!

I figured that I actually wanted to be happy at the end, because I always go for the underdog, so this time I rooted for the Colts, because they were the probable winner. Well they weren't and I was a little pissed!!

Now, I'm happy for the Saints but the news is turning it into how far they have come since Hurricane Katrina, I understand that the people of New Orleans have come a long way, but this was just a FOOTBALL game! That's it!

Every happy thing that happens they always have to link it to a tragedy, which I think is ridiculous! I mean really?! the news did a profile of this guy who had his house destroyed from the hurricane, for publicity for a football game. That makes a lot of sense doesn't it?! NO! That's ridiculous!

Sorry, I am stepping off my soapbox now.

Okay, last thing about the Super Bowl. I thought it was incredibly cute that when the QB for the Saints brought up his son that looked maybe a year old!

Nautical Star Tats!

So for a late Christmas thing with my family, that doesn't live in my backyard, were gonna get together and exchange gifts with the people that we drew. (We draw names every year so we only have to get a gift for one person) Well I got my cousin David, and last year I got his twin Daniel and my sister in law got Dan this year, and is like 'I don't know what to get a 18 year old boy, you do it!' SO with that I am painting some sweatshirts (the good kind that zip up!) and I think I'm gonna put some nautical stars on them! (I got this idea because both have said that they want a nautical star tat, smart right! ;] haha) but then relize that it's kinda dificult to paint those things. So, what do I do you ask? google it and trace it baby!! So getting to the point of this entry, there are so many crazy cool nautical star tats, they are a too ordinary tat for me but they still look sick! But here are my favorites! :)

I like this one a lot! I like the dog tags! & the wings! Pretty much the whole thing! :)
